My Award Winning Photo

My Award Winning Photo
Title: "Broken Habitat". This photo has won the 1st prize in Environmental Polution Photo Contest - Public/General Category (The 6th Trisakti Enviromental Fair 2007). A white egret fly away over the heaps of thrash as our boat approaching to take their pictures in Suaka Margasatwa Muara Angke. Heaps of thrash and black polluted water are common views in most of north Jakarta's coast estuaries and has become part of white egret life's challenge for their health and food survivor. White egret's population has reduced from time to time due to the lacks of natural foods as their habitat become depraved. Shot in manual mode at 1/3200 sec, f/2.8, Nikon D70s, Nikkor AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8D IF ED.
